Exploded View Call for Art

Call for art:  Exploded View: Maintenance & Repair Exploded View Announces Call for Art  Exploded View is curating a community art exhibit in November 2021 at the Great Falls Discovery Center in Turners Falls, MA. The theme of the show is Repair. Exploded View is a poetry-performance-art collaboration of local artists and writers, and their Call for Art asks fellow artists to consider the following: In this second pandemic year, it feels essential to perform maintenance and repair individually, and in community. Art work for this show may reflect on processes of mending, reconstruction, redemption, fixing, rebuilding, healing, and transformation. What strategies for individual and collective maintenance can be articulated by devoting ourselves to repair? Two and three dimensional works will be considered for the show, as space allows. The exhibit in the Great Hall of the Discovery Center will run from November 6 to December 1, 2021. Associated programming during November is planned
